First and foremost, we want to make sure that every child, teenager, and adult is given the tools and strategies to be successful, confident, and independent indviduals in our community. Dyslexia treatment needs to be designed for the way the child learns. This means they need explicit, multi-sensory, and systematic teaching in order to learn read, write, and spell. Please, see the list of programs that we use.
Screening and testing for dyslexia is often the first step in this lifelong journey. It is so important to be indentified as early as possible, to prevent possible frustration for our littles in the classroom.
Our screening is comprehensive, and includes a roadmap on what to do next so that you and your child are achieving success.
As a parent or guardian, you're going to have many questions of what to do next, or how to follow up with your child's dyslexia in the school system. We are here to help answer all of your questions and consult in any area that you need assistance in.
This doesn't need to be fancy...you can simply send an email, call, or even text us if you have a question about anything at all.

Preschool or Kindergarten Readiness
Even with technology, handwriting remains one of the most important forms of communication. It is also how our students are tested on state and collegiate academic tests like the SATs and ACTs. Based on research, handwriting also affects written composition and the overall desire to write. It can be crucial for written success in the classroom!
We offer handwriting sessions that teach kids how to properly form letters, numbers and currsive.
With all the hard work our students put into thriving during their middle schoool and elementary years, we want to ensure they have the executive functioning skills to perform well on these big tests, like planning, organizing, written expression work, time management, vocabulary and reading comprehension, and more. We do continuous, regularly scheduled prep sessions, or intense test prep courses consisting of 2-3 weeks of 2 hour sessions, 5 days a week. Please inquire to learn more.
This is where the fun is at! We love to help out little ones grow and get ready for the serious academic years. But first we build, play, learn, touch and ignite the senses to learn the basic foundational skills.
