Pre-School & Kindergarten Readiness

Think sand, shaving cream, sounds, counting & letters...all while their little bodies are moving and minds growing. The goal is to ignite the senses! When more senses are involved the brain more easily stores what is learned in long term memory while also making it more available for quick rapid retrieval. 
Careful it might look like play, but that is the language of children and we speak it well!

  • multi-sensory building and feeling of letters and numbers

  • song and movement

  • sand boards, play dough, shaving cream, paint, and so many more materials

  • reading and discussing

  • gross motor activities 

  • fine motor hand writing using the Handwriting Without Tears method

  • Foundations in Sounds or Lindamood Bell LiPS program for phonemic awareness 

  • & lots of games!
